Plankton Nets are designed for the safe and secure capture of marine biological specimens. Each net is carefully manufactured using only the finest and strongest synthetic materials available.
Light duty construction is a good choice for classroom studies. Each net is equipped with an internally threaded jar holder, hose clamp and two collection jars.
Featuring a rectangular mouth shape, the Neuston net is used to sample from the very surface layer of the ocean known as the "neuston layer". This layer is rich in microscopic organisms and floating debris.
